Smart Modular Platform
SMP (Smart Modular Platform) - is an open-source platform that can be used in many different aplications. It features "modules" that can be added or removed depending on the application. Each module is plug-and-play and can be easily designed using COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) components.
SMP Bus and Protocol
SMP features a custom bus and protocol that allows up to 256 different modules connected to a central "Data Fusion" module. More info here.
